L'idée originale de "louer un ami local’’ a été conçue par Alice, une journaliste luso-brésilienne qui s'est vite rendue compte que le charme de découvrir de nouveaux endroits résidait dans le fait principal de prendre contact avec l'esprit des habitants, leur culture, leur nourriture et leur façon de vivre.

Au cours de ses voyages, Alice a remarqué que ces expériences authentiques avaient leur place et rendait le voyage beaucoup plus riche et complet. La possibilité de connaître et de découvrir une ville comme un "résident du cru " était certainement une excellente façon de voyager. Et c'est précisément cette expérience différente du voyage qu’Alice veut offrir aux voyageurs qui partagent ce même intérêt.


Les amis locaux sont des jeunes ayant la même pensée créative et qui aiment explorer les aspects intéressants d’une ville, par l’arrière de la scène.

Les amis locales sont des professionnels indépendants: journalistes, designers, photographes, artistes ... et surtout ce sont des amoureux de leur ville et ils aiment partager cela avec les visiteurs du monde entier.
